The Hobart Festival of Women Writers, founded in 2013, has created a vibrant community of published women writers. Seventy participating authors have participated in our readings and workshops alongside writers from New York State, and around the country.
One weekend a year, we offer three days of workshops, including readings of poetry, nonfiction, memoir, fiction, and dramatic work. We also host an exhibition of local artists and participating writers and panel discussions on a range of topics of interest to diverse communities of writers, readers, and lovers of language. The Festival will return in person on June 7, 8 & 9, 2024.
